No this is not normal behavior... try any part of the bible pretty much, honoring thy father and thy mother works.

tell them, the bible says "a eye for a eye" and asked them if their dad poked them in the eye first. not normal for anyone to poke someone in eye with screwdriver. (unless you are the person working on a robots optical sensors)
