Question: How can I unlock my bedroom door from the outside? (Urgent!)?
( Back )
Answer #1:
go ask someone elder to help!! (:
Answer #2:
hahahahhahaha your dad is funny :)
but yeah my grandma's door is just like that and i've locked it a few times by accident.
but you don't need a screwdriver, get a skinny rod of metal, or take a metal coat hanger and break it, and try to pick the lock.
good luck! :)
Answer #3:
try unbending a paperclip. if you feel something sticking out in the middle, try to use the tip to push it. i'm not a door expert... but it might work. if it is how you unlock it, then it's not easy to do. so just because u don't get it on ur first try, doesnt mean that's not the right method.
Answer #4:
Take something small stick it in there and feel around push on a little button feeling thing its in the very middle
Answer #5:
use a bobby pin or paper clip and just twirl it around, easiest locks to pick
Answer #6:
you say last time your dad unlocked it with a screwdriver.
have you tried getting a flat head screwdriver, putting it in the hole and twisting
Answer #7:
Its a push lock on the inside of your room, right? My bf's door is like that so whenever we're playing around & he locks me out i just push a bobby pin in the little whole til it pops open.
Or you could crawl in your window?
Answer #8:
Happens all the time. Get a 16 penny nail, insert it into the hole VERY straight and you will feel a spring loaded "button" inside. Firmly apply sufficient pressure on the nail to fully compress the spring loaded button and then turn the knob. It's a small button and easy to miss with a nail especially if you are drunk. It is dead set centered with that hole, so keep trying, you'll find it. It's kind of like asking your boyfriend to flick your bean. It's down there, but some groping is required.
Answer #9:
Take apart a pen and use the inner ink sleeve to stick straight through that hole. There is a pressure plate straight back. If you push on it the handle will release and you should be able to turn it. Sometimes it takes a couple stabs.
Answer #10:
If you have a skewer or possibly an icepick in the kitchen that will do it.
Answer #11:
A small flat head screwdriver will do it. The *key* for them is nothing but a very cheap version of a small screwdriver. Just a flat piece of metal that costs the manufacturer next to nothing since there isn't even a handle for them, so any flat head screwdriver that fits in the hole will do it. The style you have described isn't a push button, you have to turn the locking knob. It's simply called a privacy lock and there is a picture of one such style in the link.
