The plastic disc that says "Delta" comes off and the screw is inside. The screw is the Philips screwdriver type and made of something soft. The grooves are worn down and I can't unscrew it. The knob has to be replaced. Can anyone help?
Question #2:
I have an Acer Aspire One 531h netbook, and the time has come to upgrade the RAM. To do this, I need to unscrew a flap on the underside of the netbook. I've tried all the screwdrivers I have but none fit. Can someone please give me a link to a screwdriver that'll fit? I know I haven't given a lot of detail about the screw, but there's none to give, I was hoping that there'd be some kind of universal screw that's used in netbooks.

It's a cross shaped screw I forgot to mention
Question #3:
My bro's DSi's R button is stuck. I mean, it can still be pushed down, but the DSi itself seems to think the player is permanently holding it down.
It's especially annoying on the Internet Browser, because on the typing screen, R moves the cursor back one space, but because of this glitch, it moves all the way back to the start of whatever is typed without input. This means that everyhting has to be typed backwards.
Is this a hardware or software problem? Because I was thinking of buying a small screwdriver to open up the console and maybe fix the R button or something.
Question #4:
Is this normal behavior?
Question #5:
Licking cold refrigerator doors at grocery store, high activity level, aggressive, poking dad with screwdriver in the eye, short attention span, hangs on people, very strong, no fear when jumping off counter and no one is there to catch him, and acts like a 3 year old emotionally.
Question #6:
Does this indicate a serious problem? If so what could it be?

Question #10:
I've decided to buy a sony vaio and found out that on most laptops you can slide open the panel of the battery, remove it and replace it with a new fully charged 2nd one (that you brought with you). Can you do that on the Vaio without any problems - i.e. without needing a screwdriver or smth else (in case they are made differently)
Question #11:
It is an interior door that has no door knob and gobs and gobs of paint layers put onto it (and the hinges) over the years. I cannot find a top or a bottom to the pins, I believe they've fallen off. Banging away with a hammer and screwdriver only results in lots of noise and no results. I've dug through the paint and found the screws attaching the hinge to the doorframe and these won't budge either.
There is no buddy assist on this, just me, so go with the one man solutions on this one.
Suggestions?
Question #12:
I have a 2003 Ford Fusion 1.4L with < 60,000 miles.
I took it for its annual service today and the mechanic came back with a long list of things that needed doing. I didn't trust him fully so I asked my friend who knows a lot about cars (because he services his own) to come and have a look with me.
Most of the tings on the list were genuine (brake fluid replace, brake pad replace, etc). One was questionable but in the end we decided unnecessary (wheel alignment). The dodgy one was that my left rear bearing was broken.
We had a look and the bearing was indeed broken. The casing holding the ball-bearings in place was broken so some of them fell out on touching it and the cover plate at the back (inside) was bent out of shape. My friend (who I trust and, like I said, knows about cars) is CONVINCED that the mechanic broke the bearing (either by accident when checking it or on purpose to get the repair bill). This is because:
- I hadn't noticed any problems with the car. It was driving fine and wasn't making any funny noises;
- there was plenty of grease on the bearing and surrounding parts;
- the way it was damaged (in particular, the bend cover plate) looked like someone could have jammed a screwdriver in there and broken it;
- the bearing was a bit pulled off the axel, despite the very tight fit;
- my friend has never come across a bearing breaking in that way before.
So, my questions are:
1. Is it possible that I had a broken bearing but didn't notice?
2. Do you think it sounds like the mechanic broke it?
3. If so, do you have any ideas on what I can do about it?
I have taken a photo of the broken bearing and asked for the broken part. Another friend has suggested I take the broken part to a Ford garage to ask if they have seen anything like that before.
We also just rang the local Ford garage and they said that it is possible that the bearing would come a little down the axle when the hub assembly is removed and that the bearings can seize. So, I think I will have to pay today and there's not much more than that I can do.
All the same, any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
Question #13:
I'm thinking of buying
Click Here
or
Click Here
But under "Graphics" it says "max available graphic memory" 2740 and 2230 respective. Now to my understanding that thing only applies to shared or integrated video cards and not to dedicated so what does it mean?
Click Here - On this one it doesnt say it.
And also anyone knows if i can just carry around with me a 2nd battery and replace the first one once its empty on a Sony Vaio? I mean without using any screwdrivers and stuff? By slide release or something?
Thanks in advance
Question #14:
As title says - can i just carry a 2nd battery in my backpack and replace the first one when its empty
As in - do i need a screwdriver to open the place where the battery sits in order to remove it and replace it with the 2nd? Can i even do it?
Are there any other viable options?
sorry i didnt give a model but ive not decided on one yet - im wondering between sony vaio or an hp - what about them two?
Question #15:
It's in a PS3 I'm working on and I won't be able to purchase the right hardware to remove this screw unless I know what this kind of hardware is called.
It's a star-shaped screw and has a post in the middle to keep normal star type screwdrivers from being able to remove it.
Here's a picture of it:

Question #16:
I've got an old-ish door with one of those locks where you twist the lever clockwise to lock it, and on the outside of the door the knob has a hole in it that I guess you can use to unlock it. I closed my bedroom door from the outside earlier and when I came upstairs tonight (it's 12:45 and I want to go to bed!) I found it locked from the inside. The lever was probably partly turned when I closed it, thus locking it from the inside. This has happened before, and last time my dad used a little screwdriver in the hole to unlock it. When I asked him for help he grumbled and went back to sleep, and I can't find any tutorials online on how to open it because I don't know what the type of lock I have is called.
Question #17:

A four-pronged screwdriver (I don't know the real name)
A two-pronged screwdriver (I don't know the real name)

A pen
A few pieces of cut cardboard,put together
Please help!

Question #19:
I dropped it by accident yesterday, and now my lb button is loose. Like its still in and everything, but I do not hear the clicking sound when I hit it like I do for all my other buttons up there. The lb button functions when I hit certains areas like the middle or the far right side of the button, but does not in the other areas of that. I already got a tork 8 screwdriver and took it apart and put it together it still won't work.BTW, I'D RATHER NOT BUY A NEW CONTROLLER, SO PLZ DON"T SUGGEST.
Question #20:
I have already bought a few tools and a tool box, I want to buy good quality things that will last a long time not something that's going to last a little while and this is what I have already bought:
A Craftsman 20" toolbox.
Stanley 3 piece pliers set (6" long nose pliers, 6" Diagonal cutting pliers, 6" Slip joint pliers)
Craftsman 8pc. screwdriver set (4 assorted sized of phillips and 4 assorted sized of flat head)
Stanley 16' Tape ruler
Generic 12" Hammer
Generic 10" Mallot
I am looking to buy some other tools but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that might be some good tools to put in there. I am also getting a roll of duck and electrical tape to put in there.
